Heather McMahan, a comedian, built a dedicated following through her expertise in grief, character creation, and wig usage.

After her father’s passing due to pancreatic cancer in 2015, McMahan relocated from Los Angeles to her hometown of Atlanta.

McMahan’s growing fan base has kept her consistently occupied. Not only has she recently recorded a second stand-up particular set to debut next year, but she is also in the process of finalizing tour dates for 2024, which include performances in Australia.

In addition to her stand-up work, McMahan hosts a popular weekly podcast, “Absolutely Not”, and has a development deal for a TV show.

Living with your husband, Jeff, and your mother, Robin, do you ever need to clarify this dynamic to others?

I have my mother living with us daily. Recently, someone asked me, “So, when are you moving out?”

I replied, “What do you mean?”
