Physical Examinations

The benefit schedule corresponding to the tier of your selected plan determines the reimbursement limit for wellness benefits.

Per-incident copays, deductibles, and co-insurance do not apply to wellness claims. Alongside the wellness rider, Figo presents supplementary riders called Extra Care packs, which encompass:

  • Coverage for Office Visits and Exam Fees encompasses expenses related to physical examinations, including charges for telephone consultations.
  • The coverage for Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy includes expenses associated with rehabilitation sessions and physical therapy treatment
  • Holistic and Alternative Medicine and treatments for behavioral problems, including related training sessions or diagnostics, are not covered by default. However, you can opt for the optional Holistic and Alternative & Behavioral Problems coverage to include these services.
  • Final Respect coverage includes expenses for air ambulance and non-emergency ground pet ambulance transportation and disposing of a pet’s remains. These services are only covered if you purchase the optional Final Respects Coverage, as indicated on the Policy Declarations Page.
  • Boarding Fees Coverage includes expenses related to boarding your pet. This coverage is not included by default unless you opt for the optional Boarding Fees Coverage, as indicated on the Policy Declarations Page or as part of a Medically Necessary Treatment.
